Quincy, Massachusetts: Le torpilleur américain “Sampson” est lancé en présence des responsables de la Navy et d’invités distingués comme Miss Marjorie Sampson.
Cambridge, Massachusetts: Le travail de l’équipage universitaire de Harvard en bonne condition physique grâce aux machines à ramer.
Montréal, Canada: Un incendie détruit l’ancienne gare historique du Grand Trunk Railway (sous la neige).
Doiran, Grèce: juste derrière le front français, ce petit village est le centre hospitalier pour les soldats français blessés dans leurs efforts pour renforcer l’armée serbe contre les envahisseurs.
Avec la flotte américaine de Guantanamo Bay: en attente sur l’USS Louisiane, les derniers préparatifs avant le printemps. Canons et tourelles fonctionnent. Baignade quotidienne. Sur le U.S.S. Wyoming, comme sur tous les cuirassés américains, exercice d’inspection quotidienne. Avant de partir pour Washington, l’amiral Fletcher pose pour la Tribune Selig avec son chef d’état-major JD Mc Donald.
En route pour Tampa avec “Les Cubs”: Mordecal Brown verse de l’huile sur les roues en difficulté. Gene Packard, Mike Doolan et autres “Cub” se livrent à un concours de manger de gâteaux, de préliminairs au concours du fanion gagnant.
Berkeley, Californie: 3300 étudiants de l’Université en Californie, célébrent leur “Labor Day” traditionnel par la construction d’un sentier du Greek Theater à Charte Hill, au-dessus du campus principal. Batailles d’eau.
Montréal, Canada: La 73e. bataillon est examiné par le gouverneur Whitman de New York et le général de brigade Wilson du Canada.
Kraguyevatz, Serbie: les soldats serbes et des non-combattants attendent le signal d’abandonner, probablement définitivement, leurs petites maisons à la merci du conquérant. Longue marche vers le sud. Camp de soldats serbes entre les réfugiés et les envahisseurs qui arrivent.

Cambridge, Massachussets : The Harvard varsity crew work into proper physical condition by using the stationary rowing machines in the gymnasium tank.
Montreal, Canada : Fire destroys the historic old Grand Trunk Railway station (under the snow).
Doiran, Greece : just behind the French front, thus little town is the hospital center for French soldiers wounded in their efforts to reinforce the Serbian army against the invaders.
With the U.S. Fleet at Guantanamo Bay : awaiting on the U.S.S. Louisiana, final preparations for spring target practice. Twelve inch guns and turrets operate. Just as the marines and soldiers are ordered to man the guns, so are orders given daily for swimming drill. On the U.S.S. Wyoming, as on all American battleships there is a daily inspection drill. Prior to leaving for Washington, Admiral Fletcher poses for the Selig TRibune with his Chief of Staff J.D. Mc Donald.
Enroute to Tampa with “The Cubs” : Mordecal Brown pours oil on the troubled wheels. Gene Packard, Mike Doolan and other “Cub” stars indulge in a pie eating contest, preliminary to the pennant winning contest.
Berkeley, California : 3300 University of California students, celebrate their traditional “Labor Day” by building a trail from the Greek Theatre to Charter Hill, six hundred feet above the main campus. Water fights.
Montreal, Canada : The 73rd. Battalion is reviewed by governor Whitman of New York and Brigadier General Wilson of Canada.
Kraguyevatz, Serbia : Serbian soldiers and non-combatans, await the signal to abandon, possibly forever, their little homes to the mercy of the conqueror. Long march southward. Camp of serbian soldiers between the refugees and the advancing hosts of invaders.
